I bought this product for my husband to use during their studies. Do not block any sound. They did make the sound more comfortable wee bit. . . but nothing is locked out. We are returning as they are NO WHERE value of $ 130 and earplugs to purchase from the grocery store!

I had high hopes for these headphones for my journey of 20 hours for Brazil, but later failed to reduce the hum of the vacuum at home, or the chatter of TV, I became suspicious of their benefits. Then I tried them head to head for audio performance against my standard Walkman headphones and tinny and economic verus the rich sound of OEM Sony Walkman headphones. Now I have them wrapped for a return of the product. Not worth bringing the trip to Brazil.

Very nice flod noise reduction, but still lacking. Good headphones probe folding units.

  4. MADMAX says:

That’s right, I’m just keeping it real! Just like all the others try to cancel out some noise. The type of headphones I have now is Altec Lansing. I use them for games because the computer has a microphone and volume control. They are very good for less than $ 50, and I would give them a 4 star vote. Not a 5 because they hurt my ears after 2 hours. Now the pros and cons for the Sennheiser PXC 250 Noise Canceling Headphones: PRO: 1) light weight / not so much pressure on orecchie.CONS: 1) Price: This product is worth about $ 30. 2) did not really cancel any noise / 20%. 3) The sound quality was just okay / not great. 4) E ’seams when you switch the noise canceling everything he did was make the song stronger / WTF? 5) Tested against my Altec and co-workers by $ 20 Sony MDR-V150 and failed. 6) The noise-canceling out the sound quality is bad for good. Summaries : I DO NOT recommend these headphones. Having headphones without a volume control is like having a TV without remote control.

Yikes. (…) I had great expectations for a pair of headphones, and Sennheiser PXC 250’s really let me down. First of all, the sound quality of these smells. Very high metal and low non-existent. Not to mention, the noise cancellation technology is really nothing more than a noise generator and booster volume that stifle ambient sounds. The headphone cable is too short, and power / control unit for noise reduction is heavy, large, and always get the strada.Se you want the noise cancellation, the spring for the Bose. Otherwise, buy a headset sound better (my Labtec cruddy that I was replacing sounds better) and irritable the volume you!
