Overall I am very happy with this laptop. I do not use my computer very often separated at all, battery life is not a big problem. I was a bit “anxious to buy the other out of my Asus last one was bad, but the period of two years, I made me feel better to take a chance on this model. Complaints:

No Blu-ray. Ok, maybe I should not complain list like this because I know that I had when I bought it, knew but seriously, why through the hassle and expense of a true 1080p display and not on a drive to show / load Blu-ray or HD-title go? I hope that Asus will provide a replacement unit with a capacity with a reasonable cost Blu-ray/HD. Incidentally, Microsoft has not considered important to HD playback of Windows 7 (corner of incredible support!) Speakers: The sound is best summed up as anemic. This is not a complaint, only a “heads up” Heat! Under heavy load (or graphics intensive operation) this puppy will pump some BTU! Runs X3, Silent Hunter IV, Half-Life 2 with all options maxed no problem. (Heat is Generated!) I will update this as I try other games. My main use of this power is TurboCAD how much work to do design and the car flies through anything I throw at it.
The mouse is given great! I have always used Logitech mice, but I think I have a new alternative. It is not wireless (that would be even better), but it is a joy to use.
The touchpad is not true of the “new” style of my own Asus is to use a lot more pleasant. I hate multi-finger gestures, and set much rather have a scroll bar, as it is. In addition, auto-off when the mouse is connected (software option). The pad is great!
I will try an update of 90 days not so stay tuned.

I can not say enough good things about this device. Yes, the “Game Boy Packaging is a bit ‘obvious, and it is a fingerprint magnet, but what is on the inside that counts. The ultra-high density is amazing. The speed is incredible and the properties can not be beat for the money. As an IT professional, I have dealt with the technical support of Asus’ in the past and found them to be exposed. The free reporting accidental breakage is unprecedented. Take your time!

On paper this machine seems to have it all. However, there is an important question – does the whole way down in the middle of the game. For COD MW2 operation of the machine would have made about 5-10 minutes into the game and would be turned off completely, as if someone had the power, cut the engine. We tested this over and over with games and various stress-testing tools (Furmark, etc.) The laptop is not closed in any particular case, it happens about 50% of the time. During the execution of CPU / GPU intensive applications that we had no problems. After several calls to ASUS support, they could not determine the problem and wanted me to return the unit for repair (after only two days). Fortunately, Amazon let me return the unit for a replacement. However, we have only received a replacement machine yesterday and have exactly the same problem with it! After some digging
on the Internet, it seems others had the same problem and a problem known of these laptops. All indications point to the fact that the CPU / GPU too hot or the power supply is too hot even, and the machine turns off completely.
be encouraged, other possibilities if you try this notebook – especially for games.
