Most people have said before everything so I will keep this basic and easy lettura.1) ASUS is a leading producer of motherboards, etc. So mark it’s no wonder that recent statistics on the reliability of portable ASUS has produced as the machine more reliable notebooks based on the number of statements or repairs. ASUS also offers a warranty on this fantastic prodotto.2) You can get a perfect laptop for the money. I had initially purchased a Dell Inspiron laptop model to Walmart, but for the same money, I had a better processor, an LED screen, a keypad, a better warranty and features the Ice Cool ASUS. The processor is best which I was really after, and the screen at LED.I highly recommend this laptop to those who do not want to spend a fortune. This laptop is a solid performer and a good bang for the buck. And ‘fast, runs smooth and looks good if cosmetics are important.

This is my first laptop. I made a lot of research before buying. I spent hours at Best Buy and Costco talk to salespeople and test your laptop display, and searched many online retailers and websites pc review price controls and reviews for different laptops. I chose this because the dual core processor T6600 was also evaluated among the lowest prices processors for notebooks. I also liked that it has 4 GB of memory and a 500 GB hard drive, which is more than most lower-priced notebooks. I wanted Windows 7, because I come from XP on my old PC tower and heard Vista is not well liked. It comes with a guarantee of 2 years more really good 1 years accidental free, and you pay the shipping if you need to send a. While I was doing my research most of the sales and reviews ASUS said it is high quality and have the best customer service. Amazon. com has had a very good price on that. I bought it for $ 599. I was a bit taken a ‘chance of buying from Amazon because I could not see it and try it before I bought it, and nobody had yet reviewed because it was a new model. I’m glad I took a chance on esso.Sono very happy with this laptop. It’s really convenient for the type. A nice size – small enough to carry and large enough to easily read the screen and type. I like the keypad on your keyboard. I really like the rest of Cool Hand smooth plastic. E ‘quiet, comfortable and cool. E ‘was easy to set up right out of the window, and I am not a technician. It took me for everything that I need to get up and running. I called ASUS support twice – once to ask if I have to charge the battery for a certain period of time before using it (they said yes, the first charge of battery should be 8 hours), and also a question on get rid of some of the software that is preloaded I did not want. They were very friendly and helpful. They have 24 / 7 technical support that is really nice. I had to wait a while ‘waiting when I called the evening, but the days of my call was answered fairly quickly. I realize that although I did very simple questions and I know you are busy, were friendly and happy to help me.Non I tried it on the internet or watched all the videos, as I am still adding and removing programs and his creation, but so far I really like this laptop. I’ll report once I had the chance to really see how it handles. At this point I am very satisfied!

(Re-wrote this review 12/6/09) This is an excellent budget notebook with a 15. 6 “screen that only 5. £ 8. We just bought two for my wife’s parents (not to buy for 3D games, as it has integrated graphics, but the office applications and browsing are OK.) Pros: – Core 2 Duo T6600 (not the Pentium Dual Core, low-end C2D, ULVs or atoms) – relatively quiet and lightweight (5. £
– Big hard drive (mine was a Seagate Momentus 5400. 6) – Screen has relatively good viewing angles, horizontal and vertical-Fit and finish good enough for a plastic bag (even if there is a lid a bit ‘flimsy, which is separate from the battery) – 4-port USB-VGA output is cool (at 1280×1024, no longer felt great) – I did not notice the palm rest getting hot at all… but do not play 3D games are you? – You can select a language during boot-up, which fixed forever that is, until the recovery from the recovery partition. The first time I chose the Traditional Chinese. Great works. Restorers (press F9 at startup) and selected English. Great works, does not need to put on DVD, and all software reappeared. I also choose the option of using a C: drive instead of a 60% default C:, 40% D: .- Opening the notebook chassis is easy – finding the “electronic – version “hardware (not the hardware” version “) of the manual on the Asus website (search for K50, and then click Download and Manual). The hard drive is easily replaceable. Relatively clean layout so I can imagine that blows dust bunnies out to be easy .- includes Office Home and Student 2007 (Word / Excel / PowerPoint / OneNote) pre-installed without a product key. It calls so I guess you just one in hand and everything is great .- Includes a trial of Trend Micro Internet Security for antivirus protection pre-installed utilities .- from Asus, relatively little bloatware-Off all the candy Win7 air. They do not need this .- 1 year warranty internationally. Includes injury protection (register for this within 60 days on the Asus web site the United States, and is not transferable by the original owner). or formalities for extending the warranty. We’re trying your luck when your computer breaks in <1 year and give us a hassle that it is a gift and are guaranteed to be valido.Cons: – A little ‘fat-Screen has a blue color, just as with ASUS TN LCD. You get used But .- Glossy Screen (reflections), no matte-Two-finger scrolling touchpad is too sensitive out of the box with Firefox (although it may go well with IE). Turning to the bottom of everything, all right .- The numeric keypad uses smaller keys! difficult to use for people with large hands .- The arrow keys do not have space around them (and indeed the right arrow is unbeaten in section numeric keypad), then you need to know where are .- The keyboard and touchpad are the left side of the computer because of the keypad. you quickly get used to this, however, so do not despair .- The touchpad buttons need some pressure to click, but you get used to it .- 4 GB maximum memory. Only 1 slot user-accessible memory that contains 2GB. No biggie .- No DVI. No Option Port Replicator with this option .- No Bluetooth, FireWire, eSATA, ExpressCard / PCI Express – Integrated Intel Graphics (not for 3D games, but great for 2D) – The T6600 does not support Windows XP-7’s compatibility mode. Most Win7 Home Premium notebook I’ve seen have a CPU that do not support XP mode. Win7 only professional and higher supports the VT mode anyway. No matter how XP at all? I have no idea. Search the Internet for this .- It wakes up when you open the lid. He does sleep when you close the lid. Yes, I checked the settings. Recommendation: Change the behavior close lid sleep, instead of Hibernate to sleep faster, but the battery will drain more velocemente.Edit 12/10/09: A few cons I’ve noticed: – The two speakers are on bottom of the notebook, the front lip. You really need a hard surface to reflect the sound to you. Definitely below average compared to other notebook IMO .- The Page Up / Down keys above the numeric keypad – so out scope. This is an incredible annoyance with the navigation on the Internet .- Remember how I wrote the graphics are quite good for 2D? If you look at Yahoo! music videos in full screen mode, you Sucker tear during fast movement . Well the normal zoom level and with computers with discrete graphics .- I always accidentally hit the eject DVD. other notebooks I’ve used this key time.
